Personality:Norah is an easy going, but high maintenance kind of girl. She likes to be pampered, and while she's been spoiled, she's not a total bitch. When she was younger, she learned that her life was easier than most, and she's perfectly content with that fact.

Norah would give the shirt off her back to someone who needed it, as long as it wasn't the most expensive in her closet. She's friendly, and blends well into most groups she comes into. She does, however, have a problem dealing with people who think they're better than everyone else. Norah realizes how lucky she is, and doesn't begrudge those who aren't as fortunate.

Her past has shown her not to read a book by it's cover, even if you maintain the appearance that that is all you do. She takes people's differences to heart and works to understand them. Her perspective on life helps her in her job, making her one of the more requested counselors at the school.

History: Norah grew up with the idyllic life. Her family had money, but not enough that she was immediately trucked off to preparatory school and spoiled to the point of not being able to interact with anyone of a lower economic means.

She had dance lessons, piano, sports, and loved school, but not necessarily for academic purposes. Norah was popular, and had it very easy. She became a cheerleader in her freshman year in high school, and soon had a large group of people she could call friends. Sophomore and junior year were much the same. She'd settled into a nice routine by her senior year.

Until, that is, she met Ryan O'Reily. Norah was having a party while her parents and older sister were out of town, and she and her friends decided they needed to buy some pot. She knew of Ryan and his propensity to have drugs because of their mutual attendance in their high school, as well as a shared American government class. She approached him for drugs, and found him oddly charming, and subconscious flirting occurred. She didn't realize she'd even done it until back in the car with her friends, where they were looking at her like she had two heads.

After a bit of dancing around each other, vague glances exchanged in class and around campus, Norah and Ryan ended up having a fling in the locker room after school, and immediately were enthralled. While both would go back to their prospective groups and badmouth the other, when alone, it was totally different. Norah found herself falling for Ryan, the bad boy that she shouldn't be anywhere near. Ryan dropped out when he turned 18, and Norah didn't see much of him after that.

Graduation came, and Norah went to Harvard University, where she began to grow and change as a person. She and Ryan stopped talking altogether, but she never forgot him. She graduated Cum Laude from Harvard, and went on to get a masters in social work. She returned to Harvard to become an academic counselor. She owes much of her outlook on people to Ryan, seeing that even the most hardened of men could be much more than appearances gave.

Norah is living in Boston with her older sister, sharing a large home that her sister purchased before her husband shipped out to Iraq. When he returns, Norah will be looking for her own place.
